The article aims to give an account of the feat of Marek Jakimowski and to trace the editorial history of the documents that celebrated it in 1628, specifically in Italy, Spain, Germany and the Republic of the Two Nations (Lithuania and Poland). Through various bibliographic sources we will try to get closer to the historical event, trying to reconstruct it and providing enough data to establish new bases to its study.
