This collection publishes five contributions that address the translation of proto-journalistic Italo-Spanish texts from the 16th and 17th centuries, combining different perspectives (translation studies, philological, historical, bibliographical, archival-documentary, etc.) and paying particular attention to political and religious news pamphlets, both festive and non-festive (miracles, entries, royal journeys, etc.).
